Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 June 2026

RoutineAI (“we”, “us”) is a personal hobby project — a calorie and macro tracking app that analyzes photos of your meals. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address and the name you provide (or the name and email shared by Google if you sign in with Google).

Meal data. Photos of meals you choose to log, optional descriptions, and the nutrition estimates (calories, macros, and related values) generated from them.

Profile and goals. Settings you enter such as calorie goal, dietary focus, plate size, and optional body weight.

How we use your information

We use your data to provide the service: to analyze your meal photos, calculate nutrition estimates, track your goals and history, and operate and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data.

AI processing

To estimate nutrition, meal photos and descriptions are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, for analysis. They process this content to return an estimate and do not use it to train their models.

Storage and security

Your account data and meal photos are stored using Supabase. Photos are kept in a private storage area accessible only to your account, and database access is restricted per user.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

Your choices

You can view and update your profile in the app, and you control which meals you log. To access, correct, or delete your data, contact us.

Children

RoutineAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
